About the Session

Hatch It! Idea Showcase Competition is waiting now. All great businesses start with just an idea. Maybe you have one you'd like to pursue? We're looking for new venture ideas from the students and fresh grdauates. Students in any major at either the undergraduate or graduate level are welcome to apply. You don't have to have all the details worked out, but you do need to prove that there is a market for your product or service, and that you are the right person or team to move this new venture forward. Applicants must be in a team of between 2 and 4 members. All participants selected for the live pitch will have access to a pitch practice with local entrepreneurship mentors.

The goal of the program is to celebrate the entrepreneurial legacy, the event highlights the critical aspect of the economy and how to create an entrepreneurial role model.

Come hear from a group of hot startups - from all industries, who are consistently working hard to shake up and disrupt their industries. At the summit, we will be focussing on transforming trends of the markets and creating entire new categories. What you have to do in the “Pitch a Startup”, you are required to give your best 5-minute pitches to a discerning panel of judges.
